Our story began in 1994, when we first visited Kangaroo Island with friends and stumbled across the breathtaking coastline of Vivonne Bay. Standing on the sand for the first time, we were completely captivated—the endless white beach, the crystal-clear blue water, and a sense of calm that’s hard to put into words. From that moment, we knew this place was special.

By 1997, we had secured this block of land and began turning a dream into reality. With the help of local builder Simon Richter, who we knew from our hometown of Yankalilla, our holiday home was completed in December 2000—built to be a place where family and friends could come together, slow down, and truly unwind.

What makes Vivonne Bay so unique isn’t just its beauty—it’s the feeling. The untouched bushland, the wide open spaces, and the rhythm of the ocean create a peaceful escape from everyday life. Whether you’re exploring the island or simply enjoying the moment, it’s a place that invites you to breathe a little deeper and stay a little longer.
